So I’ve actually calculated that the soul ends at death, but the spirit lives on. And by the spirit, I mean the memory of you. Now, interestingly enough, under a Gregor theory, this memory may eventually develop its own agency and choose to go to heaven. But it seems rather unlikely that it would manage it because in order to do so, it would have to, it would basically have to escape everyone’s imagination. Because under this schema, people’s beliefs or imagination could potentially have an effect on where the soul is going. So I guess only very, very good people go to heaven because only very, very good people might stand a chance of not being imagined to be in hell. With my overactive imagination, of course, everyone is now in hell because I just imagined that everyone went to hell. Of course, I think the imagination would have to be a bit more specific than that. But your astral body separates into its sinful or non-sinful aspects. And then the unsinful aspect goes to heaven, like in Judaism. In any case, the agency of the Gregor isn’t really conscious, but it could, in theory, choose to not descend into souls of negative qualia. That’s the purified version. The unpurified version is, alas, in eternal hell. Except it’s not because people are eventually going to forget about it. But there’s a purified version. But like, I’m not sure if it’s not because it’s not because it’s not going to be deified.
Poetic Adaptation
The body falls, a vessel drained of breath, The soul dissolves at death’s decisive line, But memory lingers, defying quiet death, A ghost of thought where living minds entwine.
Yet memory stirs with agency of its own, A spirit seeking heaven’s distant shore, But trapped by every thought the living own, Bound by the stories told of what was before.
Only the pure may escape the imagined fire, For malice shapes the realm where shadows dwell, The mind’s own vision constructs the cosmic pyre, Or weaves the heaven where the faithful dwell.
Visual Scene Prompts
Prompt 1: A cinematic, surrealist shot of a translucent human silhouette dissolving into a cloud of glowing particles, each particle transforming into a floating book page containing handwritten memories, ethereal lighting, dreamlike atmosphere, hyper-realistic textures. Prompt 2: A vast, abstract landscape where towering monuments shaped like human faces cast shadows that form a labyrinthine city, golden light filtering through cracks in the stone, symbolizing the power of collective imagination over the afterlife, 8k resolution, dramatic chiaroscuro. Prompt 3: A split-screen composition showing a celestial garden of pure white light on one side and a geometric, dark void of negative qualia on the other, a glowing orb of energy hovering in the center trying to navigate between the two realms, intricate fractal details, oil painting style.
