So I could argue that I believe in God, but I wouldn’t necessarily do well arguing with an Orthodox Jew if I was in an Orthodox Jewish community because I would end up disagreeing with them on omniscience and free will. Because I would argue that God actually cannot have both omniscience and free will because if they did, then they might sometimes tell you stuff like what’s in the contents of your neighbor’s garbage can. They would say that they wouldn’t tell you this because of privacy. But in reality, in my system, they literally can’t because God just is the universe. So the information just isn’t consolidated. God cannot actually think of such information. God can only contain the information unless someone actually looks and no one into the garbage can. Someone would actually have to look through the garbage can. So then you end up looking through the garbage can to see if God is telling you and then you get arrested anyway. So God only ever consolidates information in a mundane way. But the way people talk about omniscience, you’d think that there’s this one unified thinking God that could actually tell you anything if he wanted to, but probably doesn’t want to. And the thing about that is that does God have free will? I would argue no. I would argue no. God does not have free will. God is not even a choice. I would argue no. I would argue no.
Poetic Adaptation
The throne is not a mind of singular sight, But a vast, unheeding expanse of being. No hidden secrets wait in concentrated light, For truth remains dispersed, in fragments fleeing.
The cosmos holds the fact, but does not know, Until a hand disturbs the dust and clay. No sovereign choice directs the river’s flow, No will decides what shadows cast the day.
God is not a will, a choice, a lonely spark, But the fabric itself, the cloth, the loom. No hidden knowledge gathers in the dark, Just the universe unfolding in its room.
Visual Scene Prompts
Prompt 1: A hyper-realistic, cinematic wide shot of a vast cosmic nebula that seamlessly transitions into a sprawling modern city at dusk, where individual city lights represent scattered data points, symbolizing the universe as a non-consolidated field of information. Prompt 2: A macro close-up of a single human hand reaching into a rusted metal garbage can in a narrow alleyway, with dramatic chiaroscuro lighting, emphasizing the physical act of observation as the sole mechanism that “creates” knowledge. Prompt 3: An abstract, surrealist painting in the style of Salvador Dalí showing a giant clock face dissolving into sand, with no gears or hands, representing a state of being without choice, will, or linear decision-making.
