It occurs to me that if we share a mind in the sense that we are all talking to each other and there is no distinction between each of our consciousness, then the Naus could exist as a field of objective concepts. Though we never actually apprehend all of it, we just infer all of it. It exists by inference, maybe. The issue is that I think it’s supposed to be self-apprehending, but I guess maybe that depends on what you mean by apprehending. But you can infer a field of objective concepts, what Plato called the world of forms. It’s maybe another question of whether or not that field is fully self-apprehending because if we share a mind, I’m not sure that mind ever actually sees all of it. The idea for Neoplatonism is that it’s not our minds that are seeing it. I think it’s actually the other part of the universe that’s seeing it. For example, we may never actually be able to gauge every possible species that exists because speciation is happening continuously. However, I think the Neoplatonists would say that the species themselves are self-apprehending. So it’s really, I think it’s the field of objective concepts and then it becomes an exercise and thinking, are these concepts and thinking, are these concepts actually apprehending themselves? In the sense that we usually think of being apprehended. The answer is no.
